About Us
In 2008 I moved to the Driftless region of Minnesota to attend college at Winona State University. I immediately fell in love with the area's unique and beautiful landscape; the rolling hills, steep bluffs, and winding rivers captivated me. Located in parts of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa, the Driftless Region contrasts sharply to the flat plains that make up the rest of those states. My surroundings filled me with inspiration back in 2011 as I began my journey in the fiber industry and it continues to be a source of creative energy today. Driftless Knitting is a woman-run project that encompasses knitwear designs, the Driftless Knitting podcast on YouTube, and beautiful yarn and fiber that I create with.
